Hello from the depths of the sewing studio 👋

Been in the absolute zone lately just stitching away, making up all sizes & design styles as samples. With each piece I am just falling more and more in love with these designs and the versatility of this pattern/garment.

I have made my way through 99% of my sample pieces leaving the midi dress to last… Trust me when I tell you this dress in navy is just *chefs kiss* 💙

I’m so EXCITED to show you! & so grateful to say these will be on its way to my fit testers next week!! 👏

5 years of building this ⚡️

some lessons took longer than they should have
but grateful that I got the opportunity to learn.

& now I’m trying to do things differently and with this “wealth” of knowledge ☺️

Day 8 | I never said that when I was figuring it out, it was always going to be a success.

I had hoped to have more,be more, prepared more. Only because I am impatient that I want to share all the good things swirling around my head and the pieces I want to put out into the world for Mezdusa.

But when I think about it though, this was always about QUALITY over quantity and I’m proud and pleased that I have stuck to that (despite my impatience) by focusing on the versatility of this one design and making sure it fits beautifully!

I now have 1 finalised design and pattern (worn 3 ways) completed for The Mez Set! And You better believe I am going to celebrate that 🎉

Next we gotta source some high quality, sustainable fabric 🌿

Day 7 | As a not so unforeseen circumstance, I feel like I have been ‘falling behind’ on my Mezdusa plans and the tasks I was hoping to achieve. It’s taken a lot to talk to myself and say “hey that’s okay!” The only timeline I was following was one that was self imposed.

So while alwhile I’m not throwing it in to say, I’ve failed and I’ve fallen so far behind there is not coming back - I’ve just focusing on what really matters - Sewing in my happy place ☺️

This made even more joyous by starting the weekend by making up a made to order piece, which is actually mind blowing to me that even 1 order means someone values the pieces I make and I can’t explain how inspiring that is for me 🫶

Outside of this, this weekend I’m just Sewing to make the pieces I dream of, some might take a step forward for Mezdusa, some may not, but either way it’s me ensuring that I enjoy every minute of this and continue to sew with peace and intention.

Day Five | It’s an ANNOUCEMENT!!

Maybe I should’ve built it up for some amazing reveal but it’s been in my head for months & months and now you are in on it too!

The First Mez Set will be (hopefully) ready in Autumn, so follow along to see if we get there 🫶
