Today I managed a train trip there and back to Dundee to see a wonderful Tartan Exhibition, took sooooo many photos. Then to a Maritime Museum right opposite my hotel. It was so interesting showing old and new maritime practices and equipment. One room was a LifeSize drawing of a tall ship, didn’t take much imagination to put you on the deck, or down in the galley.

2 hours on a train goes fast when you have good company. Ann is from Wick who left home at 6am to visit her family in Aberdeen. The view from my window day and night with all the lights on the ships just over the road. Off to Dundee in the morning to see a tartan exhibition at V&A Museum

Thanks to a local girl Rebecca I did get to see The Prickly Thistle weaving up close. I can’t wait to get home and have my four shaft loom going. Not quite as fast as these beauties from the 1920’s. Such a thrill. Clare is so creative. For those who know my reputation of getting lost! It wasn’t me it was Maps fault💜

Wow what an amazing day seeing Eilean Doonan castle on way to The Isle Of Skye,Portree and feeding a Highland Cow a potato. 12 hour tour taking in this amazing scenery. Our tour guide and driver gave a great commentary along the way, about the history and interesting things about the incredible mountains and when and how they were formed. Slept well for sure

Some adventures in Scotland don’t involve walking. I got a bus from Bridge Of Orchy Hotel to Glencoe, then another one to Fort William to go to hospital to have my ankle checked out. Have torn a few ligament. I will

Due to some people, being unable to attend , we have decided to
the Sale and next Saturday 3rd December to allow those that couldn't come.
If you have any friends that you think would like to have a in the or grab some from my please let them know.
There is also a housed in a beautiful set of that is still available. It contains 24 draws with 36 compartments. There are at least 2,500 buttons included in the price.
We will be open 9am-3pm next Saturday. 35-39 Colebrook Street, Brunswick.
