We are so sorry!! 😢

When we planned our Community Day, we didn’t realise it was Ekka time 🤦🏽‍♀️🎡

Which means… tricky parking, extra traffic and potentially a bit of a maze to get to us.

We’ll still be here this Saturday, sorting through clothes and getting everything ready for the move, and you’re absolutely welcome to come along! ❤️

Just a heads-up that getting here might be a little more challenging than usual. If the Ekka chaos is too much, we completely understand!

Thanks for bearing with us 💕

See you at DAAF ✨

We’re heading to beautiful Larrakia Country next week for the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair (DAAF) from 6-9 August, and we’re so excited to be back!

This year you’ll find us among the Indigenous Fashion Projects Trade Stall Exhibitors in the Waterfront Rooms and Level 2 Mezzanine - a dedicated space celebrating the incredible diversity of First Nations fashion and textiles.

While we’re taking a break from the Country to Couture runway this year, we’ll be there cheering on the amazing designers and brands taking to the catwalk.

If you’re visiting DAAF, please come upstairs to browse our Australian-made clothing, chat with our team about the stories behind the artworks, and shop your favourite Magpie Goose collections in person.

We’ll be amongst this epic line up of fashion retailers! 😍

Inspired by Country 🍃

Winding creeks, wetlands and freshwater springs of Minjerribah (North Stradbroke Island), this beautiful design by Belinda Close and Mahala Burns celebrates the deep connection between water, the bungwal fern and Culture.

For Quandamooka people, the bungwal fern is an important traditional food source, growing in the freshwater environments that have sustained people and Country for countless generations.

Throwing it back to our very first Magpie Goose jumpers! 🪡

We’ve made a few since then, but a lot of our customers live in the warmer northern parts of Australia, so jumpers haven’t always been at the top of the list.

For our southern friends feeling the winter chill, this is your friendly reminder that we do have a range of cosy pieces made from cotton jersey and cotton terry — perfect for layering through the colder months.

This is ‘Yawiny (Stingray) & Wongai (Wattle Tree)’ by Henarlia Rex of Ardyaloon.
