September always feels like a bit of a reset for me.
It's been quite a year already, hasn't it? There have been plenty of highs, a few challenges, and more than a few moments where I've been especially grateful to have weaving, knitting, spinning, or crochet to come back to.
I'd love to know... what have you all been working on lately? Have you started something new, finally finished a long-term project, or perhaps picked up a craft you've been meaning to try? I'd love to see what you've been making, so please share in the comments!
It's also hard to believe that the holiday season is only a few months away. If you're thinking about making handmade gifts this year, now is a lovely time to start planning. Whether you're weaving a scarf, knitting a cosy pair of socks, crocheting a blanket, or spinning yarn for a special project, giving something made with your own hands is such a meaningful way to show someone you care.
We've been busy keeping our shelves stocked with beautiful yarns, fibres, looms, spinning wheels, books, and all the little tools that make creating even more enjoyable. If you're gathering supplies for your holiday projects, we'd love to help you get started.
Thank you, as always, for being part of this wonderful community. Seeing what you create, hearing your stories, and sharing this love of fibre crafts with you is one of the best parts of what we do at Thread Collective.
