The new series of small objects, ‘Little Beasts’, is slowly mapping its shape. The forms are emerging from the Shoalhaven River landscape, the sandstone country, and the formal language of Arthur Boyd’s work.

The Bundanon Art Museum has purchased and is now stocking a selection of my 3D/OVA jewellery collection. With appreciation for its architectural, modular concept and environmental ethos — carry less, create more — my 3D/OVA jewellery has found a perfect home.

I am deeply grateful to Bundanon for both the residency and for platforming my work.

A selection of my jewellery spanning twenty years is now installed and available to purchase at the QUT Art Museum and Old Government House.

From silver through to natural and degradable materials. From anvil to 3D technologies. Each piece carries the trace of its making.

My installation Becoming: Accumulated Gestures is visible 24/7 at the QUT Art Museum Window Box. A luminous documentation of a sustained, meditative physical encounter with rain, wind and gesture, situated in the Botanical Gardens.

This morning I had the privilege of sitting down with Aunty Maureen Mopio on 4EB Radio Brisbane for the PNG HerevatoKtok programme. We talked about my journey from Czech formalism to Brisbane's sunshine, about fashion and theatre and where they meet, and about my PhD research into scenography as public infrastructure. There were also recordings from PNG Fashion Week, which brought the whole conversation back to the power of community and cultural identity on the runway.
