Tailor Clothing Alterations is looking for an experienced sewing machinist to join our team in the Brisbane CBD. We are a family-owned and operated business, and pride ourselves on providing expertise across our services and delivering a quality experience for our customers.

We are offering a Casual position for a talented sewing machinist, who is passionate about producing quality work and has an eye for detail. As an addition to our small team, in this role you will be required to deliver quality clothing alterations and repairs to our customers, as well as provide front-facing customer service.

Key Responsibilities include:

Clothing alterations of menswear and ladieswear
Repairs to various garments
Pressing and ironing garments
Operating industrial alterations equipment – sewing machine, blind hem, overlocker
Maintaining the workspace to be safe and tidy
Skills required:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Clothing Alterations
Previous experience in a Tailor/Clothing Alterations store preferred
Attention to detail
Ability to work in a team
Customer Service and Communication
