Dark aubergine really surprised me.

Intended this to be a dark chocolate, and yes it is a chocolate but with strong purple undertones.

A gorgeous warm colour that also surprisingly lends itself to mix beautifully with other colours.

Thinking I want to nab a Santa Fe for myself.

In terms of sizing, Laura is wearing the medium. She usually wears the small for the photoshoots, but for the purposes of showing you that you can comfortably wear 2 different sizes, especially if you like a loose fit, we used the medium here.

Lots of new customers so it’s timely to talk about laundering your linen 🌿

There’s a myth that linen is to be avoided because it’s annoying to care for. Not true.

I am pretty rough with my linen dresses. They go into a cold wash with my other laundry. Hand washing is the ultimate but for a lot of us, we have to compromise and there is nothing wromg with machine washing your linens. Just no dryer! Dryers are so harsh on clothes and it’s so unnecessary becuase linen dries so quickly.

The best thing about linen is that you don’t need to be washing after every wear. I wash my dresses after about 5-6 wears. There’s no odour and in my opinion the linen just gets softer and softer.

If you are travelling, linen is the best to pack. You can wear your linen on repeat and treat any stains with soap or kitchen detergent in your Airbnb or hotel.

If you hang your dresses or blouses on hangeers, you might not even need to iron.

So many reasons to chose linen 🌿

Best for your stress levels, your wallet, your planet 🌿🌿🌿

Rather than shopping stuff you don’t really need, filling your home and wardrobe with things you don’t really love, spend your time reading books, enjoying your precious time with people you love, eating foods that you love and enjoying the outdoors. Get off those devices which are like markleting machines and stay out of those shopping malls that are like vacuums, they suck your money and your energy :). That’s my words of advice for Sunday ☺️

First time to Europe in 30 years.

Visiting Greece and Paris.

There’s one thing I really want, apart from Greek salad and crème caramel, a pair of genuine Greek leather sandals.

Will be wearing with my linen dresses all vacation.
