SS: Itโ€™s an amazing software that allows us to visualize the 2D pattern as a completed garment very quickly. It lets our customers and production team intuitively see their design and make fit corrections in a short time, which makes my job feel very meaningful.

SS:ย 3D software saves time and sample developing cost. In the traditional process, we usually need to make at least three rounds of sampling to approve a style from proto. Each sample takes time and comes with a material cost. But 3D software makes one-round sample approval possible. We can create specialized avatars according to each customer model spec, and customers can assess the design and fit in 3D without needing to wait foTr the physical proto. 3D capability makes our company more competitive, efficient, and helps lower impact on our planet.

EM: We are new to Europe and it will take some time to make a name for ourselves. This is different from our presence in Australia and the US where we have an incredibly strong customer base built up over many years that continues to grow organically. So this role requires a distinct approach and some extra tenacity. Iโ€™m excited to bring our fabric sourcing expertise and robust product development resources to the European market.

EM: Europe is a hub for trend inspiration and sourcing. To be able to attend fabric and innovation trade shows throughout the year provides a wealth of knowledge we can share with customers, particularly those who do not have easy access to travel. Additionally, the EU is on the forefront of sustainability, social compliance and transparency within the garment and retail industry. Having a presence in Europe will push us to be an even better partner and supplier to our customers.
