Why write to the Premier of Queensland?

Annastacia Palaszczuk: The Premier is a lot like us she “likes walking and she love walking the dogs when she can and

She also likes spending time with her nieces and a few weeks before the last election campaign started she took them down to the local cafe where they had brunch because her nieces love having their babycinos.”

We used to be able do that at Sutton’s Beach Pavilion. We would meet up with friends and family share a cuppa share experiences and build our memories.

Please take the time to write to her, our community at the Pavilion is worth fighting for.

The next few weeks are crucial to the outcome for Suttons Bathing Pavilion, as the decision will be made by Moreton Bay Regional Council on the future of this 1937 art deco heritage building. It’s paramount that we let local, state and federal representatives know we’re not giving up the fight, we want funding, we want the outcome of RESTORE or REBUILD.
We've already lost the once thriving business that operated in this space, the heart and soul has gone from Suttons, let's not lose the building too. Please follow the link below for template letters that we need you to edit/personalise before emailing them to our elected leaders letting them know your views and why they must support the RESTORE or REBUILD decision.

Hey Queenies the time has come this week to finally hang up my kaffees and put an end to the last 6 years...I know you have all heard it before but this decision hasn't come lightly...I know I will miss the madness but I'm hoping I can still stay in contact with all my beautiful Queenies...There will always be time now for a coffee or bubbles...
