Tonight at dinner, I was talking to my kids about what has happened in Nepal.
I’ve been watching the news and videos throughout the day and I honestly haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. Seeing how suddenly everything happened, and knowing that so many people had almost no time to prepare or get to safety, is just heartbreaking.
While we were talking about it, my little one asked me,
“Mummy, what can we do?”
And that really stayed with me.
I told them that we might not be able to do something big, but we can always do something.
So I’ve decided that starting today, for the next 7 days, I’ll be donating 10% of all sales from my business to the Australian Red Cross to help support those affected by the disaster in Nepal.
I also wanted my kids to understand that when we see someone going through something unimaginable, even if they’re on the other side of the world, we can still choose to care and help in whatever way we can.
It might only be a small part, but I hope it can help someone who needs it. 🤍
