✨ Feeling pretty proud today! ✨

Thank you to for sharing the story behind Birds on Bikes and Ethical Edge Collective. What started as a way to make cycling more accessible (and stylish!) for women of all shapes has grown into something much bigger—an ethical, Australian-made manufacturing business with heart 💛

It’s been a ride, and we’re just getting started. 🚴‍♀️

This Mother’s Day, we’re honouring the makers behind the magic.
At Ethical Edge Collective, many of our garments are made by mums, for brands that support women, families, and ethical values.
To the mothers balancing work, life, creativity, and care – you are the heart of what we do. 💗

Here’s to a future stitched with fairness, powered by women, and made with love.

Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at Ethical Edge Collective.

Let’s go! 🙌 Fashion Revolution Week 2025has kicked off, and there’s never been a better time to get involved, get curious, and get loud about the changes we want to see in the fashion industry.

Whether you’re a maker, a brand, a buyer, or just someone who cares—you’re part of the system, which means you can be part of the solution.

I’ll be tuning in, joining events, and doing my bit locally—and I’d love to see what you’re up to too! 💚

It’s officially Fashion Revolution Week 🌏 and this year’s theme is Think Globally, Act Locally—which honestly couldn’t feel more spot on.

At Ethical Edge Collective, we’re proud to be part of the local fashion community proving that ethical, Australian-made clothing can be done—and done beautifully. It’s not always the easiest path, but it’s one we truly believe in.

This week is all about sparking conversations, asking questions, and showing up for a fairer fashion system. Let’s keep the momentum going—because local really does matter 💚

This season is all about renewal and new beginnings — which feels just right for local makers, conscious creatives, and the growing movement of ethical fashion in Australia.

We’re proud to stand with brands doing things differently — prioritising people, planet, and purpose.
Here’s to a long weekend of inspiration, reflection, and maybe a little chocolate. 🍫💛

We don’t hesitate to pay fairly for trades and services we value—whether it’s a plumber, a physio, or a specialist.

But when it comes to clothing manufacturing, especially here in Australia, conversations around value can get uncomfortable.

Through Ethical Edge Collective, we manufacture ethically, transparently, and locally in Brisbane. Every garment we produce represents skilled labour, safe working conditions, and a commitment to fair, sustainable practices.

It’s the same ethos behind my brand Birds on Bikes, where every piece of cycling apparel is made in-house by our small but mighty team.

Between these two businesses, I’ve had many conversations about what it really costs to do things right—and why that cost is absolutely worth it.

I’ve written a blog that unpacks the realities behind ethical Australian manufacturing, the assumptions people make, and why it's time to shift the way we value the people who make our clothes.

Would love to hear your thoughts—especially from designers, brands, or makers navigating this space.

Let’s value the people behind the seams.
