It is always difficult to choose from so many 'bests' so here's a glimpse of what you will get to see, feel and adorn at our exclusive exhibition of handwoven and handcrafted sarees in Brisbane next week.

We are very excited to present our latest collection of handcrafted sarees from different regions of India. In focus, however, are modal silk sarees (silk made from cellulose from the bark of birch trees) with Ajrakh work, from Bhuj in Gujarat. You will be amazed to learn about the complexities of the artistic processes that produce these sarees.
We will also have sarees you have always loved: Banarasis, Tissue, Kora, Satin silk, Jamdanis, Rangkats, Tussar and hand embroidered sarees. Note the details and mark your calendar!

Our date with Melbourne is approaching fast!

For our March exhibition, we will be featuring an amazing collection of sarees woven by hand, from various weaving families in and around Banaras. Although Banaras is perhaps most famous for its silk brocades and the Banarasi Phekwa/cutwork sarees, there are other hand weaving techniques used by skilled master weavers that produce the Meenakari, Kadhiyal, Rangkaat, Tanchoi etc sarees which will be part of our ensemble at the exhibition. We promise you a most enriching experience.
Other than these we will have handwoven and handcrafted sarees from other regions of India. You will be mesmerised by the variety, quality and choice!
