Clara & her mum were down from North Queensland & popped in to pick up some thermals for a trip overseas. Clara does ballet & recently needed to strap her knees and chose "cowprint" tape, her black Merino top and pleated white skirt match perfectly!!

“I know you… you’re WUNDIES!” 😂🐑

Not quite the introduction Kerrie was expecting in the lift at Parliament House on the way to the AgriFutures Australia Rural Women's Awards!

It was great to catch up with Mark Muller from R.M.Williams OUTBACK magazine, a long-time media partner of the AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award and long-time supporters of Merino Country through our advertising and some wonderful stories they’ve written about us over the years.

Turns out Mark knows Merino Country particularly well - he’s a loyal WUNDIES wearer and reckons our wool un**es are pretty hard to beat! We couldn’t resist getting a photo together outside Parliament House. After all, you know you’ve made an impression when someone recognises you as “WUNDIES!” 😂

And there was plenty more networking happening on the night! Kerrie also caught up with Kirsty McKenzie from R.M.Williams OUTBACK magazine, pictured here with Kerrie’s mum Sandra and Kate Lamason from Little Tuna. Kerrie introduced Kate to Kirsty and suggested she would make a great story for OUTBACK - as a previous Rural Women’s Award finalist and for the terrific work she has done championing Australia’s seafood industry.

It’s always great to connect inspiring rural women and Australian businesses and see where a conversation might lead!
