A fierce competitor in the barrel racing arena, Maggie rides with grit, heart, and the kind of quiet determination that can’t be taught. She’s not just chasing times — she’s building a name, run by run, with the same work ethic and resilience that Martillies was built on.

From early mornings and long kilometres to red dirt, sore muscles, and the moments no one sees… this sport isn’t easy. But neither is anything worth doing.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE PADDOCK 🐘

Alright. Let’s talk about it.

We’re moving.
And truthfully — that’s hard to say out loud.

This land built me.
Every shirt, every stitch, every late night with thread in my teeth and kangaroo fur in the hem — it all started here.

So yes, things are changing.
Martillies is pressing pause. I’m pressing pause.
And it’s bittersweet in ways I didn’t expect.

But I haven’t left the land.
Not really. Not in the ways that matter.

I still carry the dust on my boots.
I still feel the roos close by, even if we’re in a new place.
And I still believe in what I built — even if, right now, I need to set it down for a little while to steady myself.

We’re not finished. Just shifting.
Slower, quieter — but still here.

The shirts will return. The paddock might look different.
But Martillies isn’t going anywhere — not in spirit.
