We’ve got hoodies now!

We made a small run of these old school hoodies and past them out too close friends before we checked out and hit the road!

Now that we’re back they’re available right now on our website in a pigment blue and pigment black.

If you’re all about Japanese Folklore this hoodie is for you! 🔥

This new design incorporates the story of the Akkorokamui! 🐙 He’s a gigantic octopus god! Who was known to swallow whales and ships whole! He’s so large that when he appears the sea and even the sky turns red. Anybody foolish enough to pass through Uchiura Bay in Hokkaido was bound to get swallowed. 🌊🚢

This time round we’ve decided to do things a little different. In the beginning we pushed Yasei into skate culture.

We had time to reflect on this and although skateboarding will always be the roots of the brand we’ve come to realise that we love way more than just that.

Co-Founders Gab and Zac have been on a little bit of a journey this year. They’ve jumped into the crazy world of not only skating but snowboarding, surfing, skydiving, free diving, climbing.

We want to create a community around our brand that’s for the adventurers and for anyone who pushes the limits in anything they do.

As some of you may have noticed we’ve been pretty inactive lately. This is because we’re on the road travelling Aus. We’re currently in Jindabyne working the snow season! As for now we’ve had to put a pause on the website for Yasei.
Don’t worry though when our travels stop we will be sure to jump back into business.
