One of the joys i’ve discovered over the past 17 years while working in clothing alterations is adaptive clothing alterations, and not too many are aware that alterations can be made to accomodate almost every and any need.

Too much fabric sitting down in a wheel chair?
Need pouches or openings for medical devices or colostomy bags?
Need a way to easily open a garment on your own where buttons or zips make it too difficult for you or your loved one?
How about sensory issues with seams or certain fabrics, or even just something to restore dignity instead to replace unflattering and uncomfortable medical clothing?

It's been a long run of surgeries and recovery, almost 2 years would you believe it! I'm not out of the woods in regards to residual sensory issues from the two microdiscectomies, and still have pain- but a girls gotta make an income so I am back!

Most of you know I'm a foster carer for Perth Rescue Angels , if you've ever considered helping out, our local Coles here in Byford are collecting donations until the 5th of March. Donations can be placed in the donation bin located near the checkouts.

They are also desperate for carers at the moment, if youve considered fostering now is a great time to come on board ♡
