Last year slapped: I turned 45, perimenopause hit me in the face, US tariffs kicked in right as I’d tripled my inventory order (and spent all our cash reserves) and the cherry on top of the sh*tshow - my mum was diagnosed with lung cancer. Fun times.⁠

So what's a woman to do but come full circle, reboot a Substack and get back to how this SG biz all began: writing my thoughts, connecting with other like-minded women and building the kind of women's surf company my younger self would have aspired to work with. ⁠
