The ring was hiding in plain sight.

This sterling silver spoon was made C1800-1900 and after all those years as silverware, it clearly had other plans.

Who am I to argue with a spoon that wants a glow up?

Now it’s hand formed into one of a kind saddle spoon ring, with all that beautiful old detail still showing.

This one is online, ready for the hand it was meant to find ❤️

Most people only see the finished piece.
The ring, the bracelet, the necklace.

What they don’t always see is the vintage silverware hunt, the hours on the workbench, the mistakes, the experiments and the stories behind every piece.

Molly Made isn’t about mass produced.

Every piece starts with vintage silverware that has already lived a life before finding its way to my workshop.

Then it gets a second chance and a second story.

Each piece is so special and no two pieces are ever identical when using vintage pieces.

Would this stop you buying a ring?

This ring is over 10 years old and has been worn more than almost any piece I own.

Over time, some of the silver plating has worn away and hints of the original gold tone have started peeking through.

Some people would see damage.

I see a piece that has been loved.

A little reminder that jewellery doesn’t have to stay perfect to stay beautiful.

Would the gold showing through bother you, or do you think it adds character? 🤎

“Would you still wear it? Yes or no?”
