I have been sitting on these pictures for a while, and im finally getting around to posting them up! A real nice Australian Sapphire center stone with some diamonds set around the band in a great looking ring design by my cousin himself! He came up with the idea, sketched it out himself, and I just turned it into reality. Congratulations to him and his new Fiancé on their engagement!

Repaired this cute antique ring for one of my friends. Thankfully they still had the little ruby that fell out, so it was as simple as popping it back in, making it nice and secure in its bezel setting and giving it a nice polish. Now it looks brand new, shiny, and ready to go all over again!

Customer request, they had an old costume jewellery piece with sentimental value. They asked to re-use the opal triplet and have the pendant remade in 9ct yellow gold. Fun little job with some interesting textures to replicate.

Introduced myself to the beauty of Adobe Illustrator today and gave myself a crash course in how to use it. I learned how to get a picture, use AI to trace the picture, and convert/export the lines into a format useable by Rhino (my 3d design program) to implement into jewellery creation. I was tracing designs by hand but it was a very long and tedious process. Now I can easily convert complex drawings into custom designs in a reasonable amount of time.
