Millie had visited us during our annual sale and tried a couple of gowns, but was excited to come back with her Mum and sister for a full fitting experience. She knew what neckline she wanted but was open with the skirt shape so we tried them all. She knew pretty quickly which silhouette she preferred so once we had all that nailed, finding her dream dress seemed like a breeze. A quick exit for lunch with the family and she was back in with her very big ‘Yes’ to that perfect dress. Congratulations lovely!

This lovely trio made a beautiful morning of it with the ultimate outcome: Alice found her dress! Having tried one elsewhere that she loved, she had a benchmark dress that had to be beaten. With Alice’s very clear brief we knew exactly which dresses we needed to work with but also had some in the style and shape of the ‘love’ dress to see whether that was, indeed, still what she wanted. We have to say, slipping Alice into the first of our dresses, we could literally FEEL her smile as we zipped her into it - and she hadn’t even seen herself in the mirror yet! Sure enough, that first dress was SO gorgeous that when she saw herself her smile only got wider. We tried many other dresses but none of those, nor the dress at the other shop could beat that beauty. With lovely mum Sue (left) and mum-in-law-to-be Sharon cheering her on all the way, Alice said an unequivocal ‘yes’! Congratulations, Lovely!

What a beautiful journey we went on with Clare today to find her gorgeous dress. She was our first bride bright and early this morning and a very particular shape of dress emerged as a favourite silhouette. With two very similar dresses of ours on her quote she went off to another appointment but later rang to ask if she could pop back in and, happily, we were able to manage it. But she didn’t want to just try her faves, another shape had crept in that was also a contender. We pulled our dress in that style and it was….DIVINE!!! Clare commented that “I feel like a bride in this one”. She flirted with another dress momentarily but soon EVERYTHING was going back to the racks except that one, stunning dress. Clare got her happy ‘yes’ with lovely mum Frances and her beautiful sisters cheering her on. It’s perfect for you, Clare - just stunning!!

Jasmin is having a beautiful dress shopping weekend away with her nearest. She had a favourite from an earlier appointment today where she learned a few details she didn’t want in a dress, and also her preferred shape. First dress on was absolutely stunning and rivalled the previous favourite well. We all picked out some more that had similar elements she liked but there was one dress she spotted on the rack she just loved straight away - and even though it didn’t hit her brief, she definitely had to try it. Not only did she love it but it happened to fit her like a glove, and upon revisiting those top two dresses this was the one that brought her to tears.
Congratulations Jasmin, it was yours all along, just quietly waiting for you!

Lovely Ellen is getting married later this year and had visited some other shops before us so had a great idea of what she was looking for in her gown. With her super supportive friend along for the ride, Ellen was quick to rule things in and out. A LOVE dress soon emerged that ticked all of Ellen’s boxes and more importantly made her forget about any other dress she had tried. She also knew that it would be perfect with the veil she is planning to wear which will also be worn by 6 brides in her friendship group, (we love this idea Ellen!!!!). Congratulations lovely. You will be stunning 😍

This is gorgeous Emma who has found a dress that has ALL the things: some of them things she didn’t even know she wanted! She came with a pretty open mind, though, understanding that it was really hard to know what she wanted until she tried gowns on. The first dress was an absolute cracker - utterly stunning - and it did not leave the room until the very last moment. But another, very special (and totally new!) dress snuck up to pip it at the post. As we were switching between those two dresses, lovely matron of honour and longtime friend Chloe confessed that she had had ‘a moment’ seeing Emma in that dress. And, while Emma had been methodical and systematic throughout the consult, once that dress went back on, the emotions flooded in and she said ‘yes’ to the dress through happy tears. The first dress went back to the rack and we were done. Congratulations, Lovely; we’re over the moon for you!
