It’s been a long time between posts… a really long time, and it’s been a while since I pulled out the sewing machine, which makes these dresses all the more special. Double gauze ivory maxi dresses for a beachside photoshoot. The perfect dress for a balmy 28 degree autumn day. I think there will be more like this to come 💗

Hip Hip Hooray!

Book Week is finally here!

With not much sewing going on around here, thanks to covid, my day job and family life, it was nice to dust of my machines and make the girls their book week costumes- Tinkerbell, Dorothy and The Queen of Hearts ❤️. With our home undergoing major renovations I am not taking Xmas orders this year but hopefully 2021 will be back on board creating some gorgeous garments! 💕

Wow... it has been so long since I posted anything... I‘d almost fallen off the planet - with packing up our house, moving, unpacking, renovating, illness and family life but I am here and for the first time in have sat down to sew something that isn’t for my own kids or an alteration!

This bespoke piece “ squad togs” cossie is for a VERY special little girl who is “Bluey” obsessed and celebrating her birthday. The bluey appliqué is hand drawn, every individual piece cut from spandex, glued and then sewn into a free motion appliqué. It is a long, slow process but I’m delighted with the outcome and hope she loves it as much as my girls now do (and are now asking for one...).

The tide is changing as Autumn is making itself known here in Sydney but that isn’t stopping the love for the high tide surfsuit. This one went to a special little girl for her birthday. I hope she loves it as much as I did making it.
