Hello there , long time no see ! Thinking about making a bit of a comeback . My life doesn’t really allow for me to work in the traditional sense of leaving the house and been elsewhere for a few hours ( something that doesn’t sound entirely terrible 😋) .

Firstly I have some preloved/made but never got a home items to clear some space . After that I am very interested in offering some items in an inclusive size range . As in if you can give me a couple of simple measurements I can make you a dress . I should clarify this will be a particular style of dress . Clothes design an pattern making is not my thing . I am just very good at following instructions .

Thank you for getting this far in my ramblings. Look out for some new things on the page in the next couple of days 😊

Historian Lucy Adlington was inspired to write a novel about the women forced to make clothes at Auschwitz. Then she discovered the truth was more riveting than the fiction.

I have thought about making one of these so many times and I am glad I never started one last minute ! I never would have got is finished in time . It was so worth it in the end . Very happy with the finished book👏 This one is for a 1yr old so more about colour and texture than life skills .

This woman's art is amazing ! So talented! I'm so grateful that I found sewing. It allows me to flex the artistic muscles I would like to have without having any actual artistic talent .

My course is driving me mad ! It is so outdated and badly written . Though some sewing knowledge was expected we are meant to be learning many of the skills with their instructions. The written instructions don't match to the pictures and the pictures are incredibly unclear. The amount of things I have had to google is ridiculous considering I paid for this . I should have just saved my money and Googled techniques and done this myself. I am so incredibly dissapointed ☹
Sorry that was a lot ! Rant over .

It's been 10 hrs and I'm already straight back into my lockdown pants . No make-up!
I hope everyone in Melbourne is ok ! I'm somewhere in the middle . Sad for my kids , disspointed we can't have my grandmas memorial . Though I will make the most of the break . There are quite a few things that need to be done around my house so here is my opportunity .

Read ahead in my course and I am pretty agitated by this particular module. It is packed full of body shaming and rules and regulations of what certain people should and should not wear .

Wear what makes you happy ! Dont let other peoples opinions make you feel anything less than your perfect self !

Bralette no.2 and yet again doesnt work for the dress i hoped it would🤷‍♀️ it fits though and that's all that really matters.

Happy to be squeezing in these sewing projects in between all the school holiday madness. Keeping three kids entertained is an exhausting job !
