Covertex Pty Ltd designs and manufactures custom industrial curtains and screening systems used across spray booths, work bays, and warehouses. We're expanding and looking for two reliable, hands-on team members to join us in a flexible and rewarding workshop role.

✂️📏 Cutting and measuring are essential parts of the job — precision, care, and attention to detail will be valued and supported.

🛠 Key Responsibilities:
• Assemble and fabricate curtain systems
• Cut and measure industrial textiles to spec
• Package, label, and prepare goods for dispatch
• Assist with storeperson duties including loading/unloading

✅ You’ll thrive in this role if you:
• Enjoy hands-on work and practical tasks
• Are physically capable and confident with measuring and cutting tools
• Learn quickly, communicate clearly, and turn up on time
• Have experience in production or manufacturing (preferred but not essential)

The Macedon Ranges Council have recently installed our Covertex BlockOut Curtain Bays at the Gisborne Aquatic Centre. The bays will partition the existing male & female change rooms for use by school groups visitting the facility.

Casual - 11 to 16.5 hrs average / week - Weekdays 9:15 am – 3:15 pm (flexible)
$30 - $40 per hour + 10.5% superannuation (skill / competency dependant)

Covertex is seeking candidates to fill two (2) positions in the manufacture of our range of Industrial PVC Partitioning & Screening products. Successful applicants can be assured of being well rewarded in working within an organised progressive company who understands the value of its people and is committed to the production of high quality products.
The job would be well suited to those with school age children who are seeking shorter working week hours due to their at home commitments.
Responsibilities
• Operating high frequency welding machines
• Operating hot air welding machines
• Assisting with the measuring, cutting and preparation of materials
• Operating industrial sewing machines (minimal) to create high-quality textile products
• Contributing to the overall production process to meet customer needs
• Adhering to safety standards and procedures

Requirements
• Available to work casually between 10 (minimum) & 15 hrs (maximum est.) per week based on fortnightly roster.
• Prior industrial textile manufacturing experience is required
• Competent use of hand held power tools
• Good measuring & cutting skills
• Must be fit and nimble as both lifting and floor based assembly work is required
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Car license

Our Covertex industrial partitioning is nearing completion for leading furniture maker Jardan’s new manufacturing headquarters

More Covertex ViewSafe Curtain Bays are currently being commissioned at leading bespoke furniture maker Jardan. The installation forms part of their state of the art fit out for their soon to be opened Scoresby manufacturing facility. The ‘light beam’ column supported bays encompass more than 500m2 of factory floor area and feature fully operable curtain walls for maximum production efficiency.
