Thirty, flirty and THRIVING 💅👜

It’s the big day! Mimco is turning 30 — and what a wild, wonderful journey it’s been getting here. From wrestling vintage Mimco back from the hands of Gen Z collectors, to enlisting iconic Australian influencers for celebration inspiration, and even letting some of them launch Mim Pouches across the head office floor (we’re looking at you, Brittney Saunders) — it’s been a ride.

Don’t worry, no Mimco head office employees were harmed in the making of this series (we swear). Now, there’s only one thing left for General Manager Jennie to do: what she does best. Slip into new-season jewels, assemble her entourage, and get ready to par-tay.

What good is a killer 30th birthday campaign if it doesn’t get any traction on socials? Mimco’s General Manager Jennie has engagement on the brain, and sensing the head office team are somewhat lacking in the way of short-form content slayage, she enlists the help of two of the brand’s most trusted content creation queens — Tatenda Luna and ELLA SQUIRE

Armed with newly acquired Gen Z lingo and ring lights aplenty, Jennie is determined to chase a viral moment with the team. That is, if their hand-eye coordination doesn’t get the better of them...

Looks like Elle got herself a job at Mimco HQ… what, like it’s hard? 💅
Mimco’s General Manager Jennie shakes things up ahead of the brand’s 30th birthday celebrations with a new hire — and who better than friend of the brand and style icon Elle Ferguson? A longtime lover of Mimco accessories, Elle arrives ready and raring to go, fuelled by blonde ambition and a passion for vintage Button Bags, but Jennie’s initial assignments aren’t quite what she expected from her pivot from influencer to PA. Could the fresh perspective of a Mimco-loving outsider be exactly

Office girlies know. Those overhead fluorescents stay praying on our downfall.
Mimco General Manager Jennie and Head of Marketing Siobhan are deep in discussions about the media strategy behind the brand’s 30th birthday rollout. But their focus keeps slipping — thanks to every corporate fashion maven’s worst enemy, harsh overhead lighting. And Jennie’s very real craving for margaritas. Maybe their team member’s idea to hire a new (but familiar) assistant is the lightbulb moment (pardon the pun) they need.

This is the kind of workplace betrayal that belongs on Summer House... 🍓🫙

With the brand’s 30th birthday hot on their heels, Mimco’s Marketing and Design teams come together to review celebratory styles created for this milestone moment. But tensions rise when an office fridge theft comes to light.

The team is so close to the finish line — but could this betrayal be the straw that breaks the camel’s bag and throws their plans into chaos? Keep watching to find out.

Jacob Elordi is literally shaking right now 👜👨🏻

The list of friends of the brand enlisted to kick off Mimco’s 30th birthday celebrations is only getting longer — and more illustrious. In today’s instalment of SO BACK, the man, the myth, the fashion sage himself, ELLIOT GARNAUT. , arrives at head office to share his thoughts on whether our archive Re-Edition range is truly It-girl approved. But after spotting the overstuffed pockets of some nearby male employees, he’s left wondering… are these bags actually best served by the boys? 👀
