After a lot of thought, it’s time for me to say goodbye to Little Lalt. Next week will be my last and while I’m excited for what’s ahead, it’s incredibly bittersweet to close this chapter.

When I look back, I don’t just think about the products on the shelves or the days behind the counter. I think about the people.

I’ve watched glowing mums-to-be become first-time mums. I’ve met tiny newborns who now run through the shop as cheeky toddlers. I’ve seen little ones come back proudly holding their new baby siblings hand. I’ve helped grandparents find the perfect gift, aunties and uncles spoil the newest addition to the family and shared in so many exciting milestones along the way.

Some of you I’ve seen week after week, year after year. Watching your families grow has been one of the greatest privileges of this job. Being trusted to help you choose a first outfit, a special gift or simply just share in your excitement is something I’ll never take for granted.

Little Lalt has been so much more than a workplace to me. It’s been a place filled with conversations, laughter, happy tears, tiny footsteps and beautiful connections that I’ll carry with me long after I leave.

A special thank you to Kerry for trusting me with your beautiful little store all those years ago. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to be part of Little Lalt’s journey, for believing in me and for allowing me to build so many wonderful relationships with our community. I’ll always be grateful for that trust.

To every family who has walked through those doors, thank you for letting me be a small part of your story. You’ll never truly know how much those moments have meant to me. Thank you for making these years so incredibly special. I’ll miss you all more than you know 🌈🤍
