This is a consistent theme on the feedback you guys have given us about our our charred black abayas made from lyocell, a natural fabric derived from wood pulp that is breathable in hot weather. We chose this fabric because it feels smooth like polyester but has the qualities of cotton. That’s the reason it’s charred black, because it’s harder to obtain darker solid colours like jet black on natural materials compared to polyester. It was a compromise we were willing to make if it meant that you could enjoy your black abayas in the heat too, especially on umrah and hajj and at the same time do better for the environment by choosing sustainable fabrics. Just a few sizes left!
