Behind every ramp, every weld, every floorboard and every late afternoon discussion is a team of hardworking locals helping shape something bigger than just renovations.

When people visit for Christmas displays, Santa photos, events and experiences, it creates flow, energy and opportunity for our town and fellow local businesses too. 🌟

Supporting local creates a ripple effect. One project helps another, one business supports another, and together we build something stronger for the whole community.

Some of the best moments during the ramp and stage renovations haven’t just been the building work it’s been the stories ❤️

This weekend, Gwenda & Ivan visited us and shared memories of the old Victoria Hall. They spoke about the dances, the crowds, the laughter and how this used to be the place to be in Colac. A place where friendships were made, memories were created, and for many where love stories even began.

They were also very excited to meet our “tradies” James and Tafadzwa who are still telling everyone they personally built the ramp 😄

Hearing stories like these reminded us why we want to preserve and celebrate this stage so much. We are bringing back a little piece of Colac history and giving it new life for future generations.

A big thank you to Gwenda & Ivan for sharing those beautiful memories with us ❤️

When your mates drive all the way from Melbourne just to raid the squishy wall ,you know things are getting serious 😅😂

James recruited Jack & Will for today’s “official quality testing” of the squishies… and safe to say the shelves survived by pure luck 🤏🤣
