I thought I should share something that has stayed with me since our grand opening.
at the end of the day, a mum walked in with her two young daughters. She had been working all day, so they could not come earlier.
Just imagine that for a moment.
After a long day’s work, all a parent probably wants to do is go home and rest. But these little girls kept reminding mum Please take us. We promised Joe to be there.
It brought tears to my eyes.
the kids were not thinking about balloons or giveaways. They were thinking about keeping a promise.
I don’t know if their mum will read this, but I want her to know how much I respect what she did. Thank you for making that effort after such a long day.
Those two little girls reminded me that children can be our greatest teachers.
They taught me that showing up matters. That keeping your word matters. That love is often found in the smallest acts.💕💕
I know many people could not make it because they were working or had family commitments. Please don’t ever think your support went unnoticed. We felt it. And everyone who came, whether before the event, during the celebrations, or at the very end, represented our whole community.
For those who know me, you all know that my pride has never been in the number of sales. My pride is in the number of smiles we create. Everything else falls into place after we have made people smile.
Community is not built on transactions. It is built on people who show up, keep their promises, and care for one another.💕💕💕
