If you’re looking for an indoor activity this winter, explore The Offbeat Sari Exhibition at Bunjil Place 📍 Narre Warren , and don’t forget to stop by The Sari Project by The Social Studio! ❤️

Born from a year-long collaboration between The Social Studio and Kahini, this exhibition transforms 100 donated saris into contemporary garments that honour culture, community, and the stories woven into every piece. Created by our students and alumni under the guidance of project lead Seren Paing, it’s a celebration of migration, creativity, and community.

Some of the pieces from the retail collection are still available. Check them out online and in-store at Collingwood Yards .

What’s been happening at The Social Studio lately 👀

As the semester comes into an end, our students are wrapping up their final project. For final-year students, this would be the last project under the program with The Social Studio! We’re so excited to see their graduation show.

Alongside this, we continued with our production and getting new stock in for the shop. Stay tuned for the updates of what’s happening behind-the-scenes at the studio. 🤳
