It was truly an honour to embroider these towels for the Collinsville Barebow Hunters Club Drinkwater Memorial Shoot 2026.

I have to admit, I was a little nervous taking this one on, as the logo was quite detailed and I wanted to do it justice. Knowing they were being made for such a meaningful weekend made it all the more important that they were just right.

I’m sure Glenville and Lynette would be incredibly proud to see the way the club has come together to honour their memory with this year’s Black Rabbit Memorial Shoot. Their legacy continues to bring people together, and it’s a privilege to have played a small part in it. 🤍

Business & Personal Update 🤍

After a lot of thought and many conversations over the past few months, I’ve made the decision to offer the retail side of my business for sale.

For a few years now, our family has been working towards a dream of travelling together. While that’s still a little way off, those plans are slowly becoming a reality. I’m also looking forward to creating a little more time to spend with my boys and being more present while they’re still little.

This shop has been so much more than just a business. It’s been a place filled with conversations, friendships, laughter, support, and community. To everyone who has walked through these doors and supported me over the past year—thank you. It has meant more than you know.

But this isn’t goodbye. It’s still business as usual while I wait for the right person to present themselves and take this business into its next chapter.

The best part? Twilight Supply Co. and Twilight Tides aren’t going anywhere. These brands will stay with me, and I’m excited to continue growing them wherever our next adventure takes us.

If you’ve ever dreamed of owning an established retail business with a commercial embroidery service—or know someone who has—I’d love to chat.

This isn’t the end of the story… it’s simply the beginning of a new chapter. 🤍

Tours with the Twilight Crew – Cob Loaf Edition 🦀

We’re making crab cob loaf! First step is getting some crabs before bringing them back to the kitchen to turn them into one of our favourite recipes… a fresh crab cob loaf.

Fair warning… this tutorial comes with one very important lesson. See if you can guess the ingredient I accidentally forgot. 😂

First things first… you’ll need someone to catch you a few crabs. Then get them cleaned and cooked. Normally the crab meat magically appears ready to go, but this time my mother-in-law and I had the fun job of peeling every last bit of meat ourselves.

Ingredients

(I don’t really measure anything!)

* Fresh crab (pretty important… or so I discovered 😂)
* 250g Philadelphia cream cheese
* 200g sour cream
* About 3 rashers of bacon
* ½ onion (or spring onion if you prefer)
* A couple of teaspoons of French onion soup mix
* Cracked pepper
* Mixed herbs
* 1 cob loaf
* A couple of handfuls of grated cheese (the more you add, the cheesier and stringier it gets!)

Method

1. Chop the bacon and onion and fry until golden. Add garlic too if that’s your thing.
2. Cut the lid off the cob loaf and scoop out the middle.
3. Once the bacon and onion are cooked, add the sour cream and cream cheese. (I like to take the cream cheese out early so it softens.)
4. Stir until it starts melting, then add the French onion soup mix, cracked pepper and herbs.
5. Once it’s nice and smooth… add the crab and stir it through. (This step will become important later. 😂)
6. Stir through your grated cheese.
7. Spoon the mixture into the cob loaf and top with a little extra cheese.
8. Pop it into the oven or Weber.
9. Bake for 10–15 minutes, depending on your oven.

And that’s it… ready to enjoy!

Well… unless you’re me.

If your brain is juggling a million things and you somehow forget to add the crab (yes… the main ingredient 🤦‍♀️😂), don’t panic. Just stir it through at the end and pretend that was always the plan.

Safe to say, we’ll call this one a practice run. Hopefully the next cooking episode goes a little smoother! 😂🦀

Part 2 of our overnight boat tour 🏝️

We settled into an afternoon of exploring the beach on the island. The boys had packed no toys, so they had to improvise with what they could find… a plastic bottle, a cork and a few sticks. Funny how the simplest things become the best entertainment.

We spent the afternoon beachcombing before watching the sun go down around the campfire. Then it was back onto the boat to cook dinner and settle in for the night.

We thought we were in for a peaceful sleep… but it turns out five of us in a small cabin wasn’t quite as relaxing as we’d imagined. 😂 Riley eventually retreated under the seats with his sleeping bag, then we had one minor wee accident, followed by a major wee accident… and to top it all off, a spew. Safe to say, it wasn’t the most restful night’s sleep!

Before sunrise we were already up, enjoying a quiet walk along the beach. As the sun began rising through the passage, we pulled up the anchor and made the quick 20-minute trip home.

Once we were back, we cooked up a big breakfast and spent the rest of the day slowly unpacking, cleaning the boat and catching up on some much-needed rest.

Would we do it again? Absolutely.

Next time though, we’ll be limiting water before bed… and packing a blow-up mattress for the back of the boat! Every adventure teaches you something, and this one definitely gave us a few lessons. 🤍

🚨 THE CLEARANCE SALE HAS STARTED! 🚨

The wait is over… our Clearance Racks and Sale Shoes are now ready for you to shop! 🛍️

These clearance racks are here to stay until everything is sold out.

What you see is what we have, and once it’s gone, it won’t be replaced. This is your last chance to grab these styles at clearance prices!

We’ll also be adding more items to the clearance racks as we continue working through the shop, so keep an eye on our socials to see what’s new.

If you’ve been waiting for a bargain, now’s the time to pop in. Don’t leave it too long though—once your size or favourite item is gone, it’s gone for good!

🚨 THE CLEARANCE SALE STARTS WEDNESDAY! 🚨

It’s time to make some room for new stock!

I’ve been sorting through the shop and found plenty of items that have been here for far too long. So, it’s time for them to find a new home!

From Wednesday, you’ll find TWO clearance racks packed with bargains, plus a selection of sale shoes at prices too good to miss.

✨ The best part? This isn’t a one-day sale!

The clearance racks will stay in-store until everything is sold out, and I’ll be adding more items as I continue clearing through the shop.

If you love a bargain, make sure you pop in regularly because once something’s gone, it’s gone!

See you from Wednesday! 🤠

🥶 The mornings are still a little chilly here in Collinsville!

Are you team winter… or counting down until summer? If you’re a cold frog like me, we’ve still got plenty of cosy winter gear in stock for both adults and kids.

From warm flanno’s and mine jackets to winter essentials, now’s the perfect time to grab an extra layer before the cooler mornings disappear — and just a heads up, we won’t be getting much more winter stock in from here on in.

Pop in for a browse — and yes, we’ve usually got the heater cranked up because this shop is freezing in winter! 🤭
