Welcome to Miss Chopsticks online gift shop. Miss Chopsticks is Sydney based jewellery designer named Parry Yang. She was born in China and raised in the small seaside town of Shantou where she learned the art of origami as a child and currently live in Sydney. Miss Chopsticks’ beautiful origami jewellery takes us back through time to the age old craft of paper folding. Origami is an ancient art f

orm practiced widely in Japan and now worldwide. It quite literally means paper folding. It is thought however, that the art's origins took root during the early seventh century, as the technique of paper making was introduced to Japan by China. Miss Chopsticks Origami Jewellery began from Parry’s passion for miniature gadgets, with response to the positive comments she received when people saw her miniature origami designs that she initially created as a hobby. One day it clicked to her that designs could be made tiny enough to be worn as unique piece of jewellery. Parry has put in a considerable amount of effort and skill into hand making these small and intricate creations. Her range of earrings is affordable to all whilst reflecting quality and workmanship. Can’t wait to see you at SMASH! スマッシュ! !!!✨🌸🥰

I’ve been busy folding, creating and packing some very special origami jewellery ready for the weekend. Each piece is carefully handmade from Japanese Washi paper and carries its own story.

If you’re coming along, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello. You’ll find me at Artist Alley – Level 4, Table 4.L.04 inside ICC Sydney 💙

See you this weekend!

Tata,

Me folding origami in my studio… then waving while I work… then holding up my origami earrings like “surprise, these are handmade.” Did you see something new here? 😉

Catch me at SMASH 11–12 July and Craft & Quilt Fair 15–18 July at ICC Sydney.

Hi, I’m Parry, the hands behind Miss Chopsticks Origami Jewellery and a busy mum based in Sydney, Australia.

I turn tiny pieces of Japanese washi paper into meaningful jewellery. I share slow folds, quiet making, and what handmade really looks like.

If you love thoughtful pieces made with care, colour, and a little story, you’re in the right place.

P.S. When you’re ready to wear a tiny crane of hope, peace, and joy, there’s a little thank you tucked inside — 10% off when you join my insider community through the link in bio.

A little walk, a little ocean, and a very busy week behind the scenes.

I’ve been working hard on new pieces for SMASH! Con and the Craft & Quilt Fair — and this sweet origami crane dangling under golden bow hooks is one of them.

Tiny, meaningful, and handmade with love.

SMASH! Con: 11–12 July
Craft & Quilt Fair: 15–18 July
