Since making this video we've sold the last of our bridle leather belt straps! So now Our belting collection has considerably simplified.

Buffalo belts are available at a lower price point, then we have the Buy Once Belt as our heavier belt with all the extras in once place.

Ill roll out the new Italian belting leathers over the next couple of weeks which will be the mid range belting option we will offer moving forward.

I've also settled on my buckle choices. I managed to find the same buckle style as our stainless steel roller buckle but in brass! I'm very happy with the quality.

I look forward to finishing this belting revamp for our base product line then I'd like to start exploring some limited drops for belt lovers.

I seen a bunch of people carrying Adventure Carry gift bags around the Sydney Cutlers Expo last weekend.

Craig was one of them, he stopped by our tables to say hi. He had one of the original slips from the first batch we produced last year, and he just purchased a brand new one from the most recent batch this year.

We had a chat about them and how well the crazy horse leathers from Packer Leather age. It's cool to see carried and new side by side. The sheen it picks up from the constant friction inside your pocket, paired with the darkening in colour makes it so much more desirable as it gets older.

This one has a bit of a story behind it too which I always love. I asked Craig if I could share it and he agreed 😊 

 Craig : I grabbed this Adventure Carry prototype slip from Mitch back in Aug 2025. I loved the design and emboss so much I was reluctant to put just any knife in it. But when my Dad passed at the end of last year, I slipped one of his knives in there and I’ve been carrying it ever since. Funny how a little piece of leather can end up carrying a lot more than a knife. Cheers to you and the team for making it happen 🙌

I had a customer come up to me at the Sydney Cutlers Expo over the weekend to show me how his key tag has aged. This is the level of patina that can be achieved with natural coloured leather, but there is a catch! You have to earn it! It takes years of everyday use.

This is the same leather that we make our "Buy Once Belts" from can you imagine a belt with the same beautiful patina 😍

If you love leather patina. Natural coloured leather goods will show the most pronounced colour change over time with everyday use. The colour gets darker and richer and it picks up a sheen as if it's been polished.

Father's day is coming up. I've tagged this key tag in this post so you can see how it looked when it was brand new!

Well that's a wrap for the 2026 Cutlers Expo!  A huge thanks to everyone who attended and supported their local makers.

 A huge thanks to the KAA for putting on another expo in Sydney. I think it went well considering all the legislation changes. Venu change and rebrand of the show from the Sydney Knife Show to the Sydney Cutlers Expo.

The Brisbane show is next which is in March 2027 which is also at a new venu, close to the Brisbane air port. I hope to see you there!

No police (in uniform) at the Sydney Cutlers Expo today (formally the Sydney Knife). Not that I saw anyway, what's up with that I usually always see them roll though? I brought badge wallets along for you guys 😂. I did have a chat to some off duty officers who were carrying our badge wallets though. It's always good to get first hand product feedbackfrom active duty police officers.

One of them had a clipped badge holster for the older style NSW badge which he was issued 26 years ago! The badge it self is pretty beat up, and his clipped badge holster shows dents and scuffs from everyday use. The thread is looking good in blue no issues there! The black coating on the eyelets is totally gone, which I don't like but finding eyelets that stay black has been a challenge! St least they are solid brass and not some thing cheap and nasty that will rust.

I didn't photograph the back, because his officer number is debossed there. I was very happy to see the spring steel holster clip is as good as new. Solid with a firm hold as intended.

I always loved the idea of people carrying things that I had designed or made. Seeing that first hand, meeting the people who have supported us, and seeing how happy they are with the product is one of the best parts about my job.

Hey everyone! I've been a little quiet on the socials recently. It's because we have been so busy working through father's day orders, and packing for the Sydney Knife Show which is this weekend and has now rebranded to the Cutlers Expo!

We have packed down our showroom and we are hauling it 11 hours south. Our showroom will remain open for customers with local pick up orders, but just a heads up that showroom is pretty empty at the moment. 

I'm excited to see the new venu this year and all the familiar faces of the knife / EDC community. Come say Hi at the NSW Cutlers expo! Tickets via the link in our story

It's always a nice thing when your B2B customers come back for a repeat order!

We tested this very detailed snake logo stamp on one slip in the previous batch, to see how it aged over time. The results were fantastic so we split this batch between the Stay Sharp snake logo with orange thread, and the standard Adventure Carry logo with cream thread.

Designed and made in Australia with leather that's tanned only an hour down the road Packer Leather
