12,602 pieces sold.ā€Ø10,249 pieces brought in through exchanges.ā€ØAnd an estimated 3.7 TONNES of clothing kept out of landfill šŸ¤Æ

I knew a lot of little clothes had passed through the shop over the last 10 months, but seeing the final numbers is pretty wild.

For a little shop that was only around for a little while, I think we did alright. šŸ„¹ā¤ļø

And NOW thatā€™s a wrap on Little Ones Coolum.

And just like that, our doors are closed šŸ’š

A little over 10 months ago, Little Ones Coolum opened its doors for the first time. Today, we closed them for the last.

What started as a little idea became so much more than I ever expected ā€” thousands of little clothes finding new homes, so many familiar faces coming through the door, conversations over the counter, kids playing in the corner, and a genuinely lovely little community around this shop.

Thank you to everyone who shopped with us, brought in your little onesā€™ outgrown things, told your friends about us, followed along online, stopped in for a chat or simply supported what I was trying to create. Every bit of it mattered.

And thank you to my family, who have been very much along for the ride behind the scenes. I definitely couldnā€™t have done it without them.

Closing Little Ones is bittersweet, but Iā€™m really proud of what we created in the time we had.

Thank you, Coolum, for giving this little shop such a lovely life. ā¤ļø

Turns out you learn a few things when thousands of pieces of preloved kidsā€™ clothing pass through your hands šŸ˜‚

From ghost stains (who knew?!) to the brands that just keep going, these are a few things Iā€™ve learned from running a preloved kids store ā™»ļø

And probably the biggest one: kidsā€™ clothes have SO much more life in them than we give them credit for.

Buy preloved. Pass it on. Let another little one love it. šŸ’š

From now until our final day, Saturday 29 August, everything in store is 50% off!

There are still so many beautiful pre-loved clothes, shoes, toys and books to find ā€” so come in for one last rummage, grab a bargain (or ten šŸ˜‚) and help us send as much as possible off to new homes before we close the doors.
