🤠 SPECIALISING IN WESTERN & FENDER SADDLE FITTING

We’re now taking bookings for our Monday 26 October mobile saddle fitting run, with an exciting new addition to our services!

The Rusty Spur Co. is pleased to introduce our NEW Duo Fit Assessment — a more comprehensive approach to evaluating the horse, saddle and rider together.

Whether you simply need your current saddle checked or want a more extensive assessment of your horse and riding setup, we now offer two fitting options.

🐴 STANDARD SADDLE FITTING

$120 – One horse
$100 per horse – Two or more horses for the same owner

Includes:
• Precision fitting using the Dennis Lane Fitting System
• Assessment of your current saddle and saddle pad
• Educated recommendations based on your horse, saddle and current setup

🐴 NEW! DUO FIT – $180 PER HORSE/RIDER COMBINATION

Our Duo Fit service provides a more extensive evaluation, looking beyond the saddle alone to assess how the horse, equipment and rider work together.

Includes:
• Equine biomechanical assessment
• Comprehensive saddle fit assessment
• Dennis Lane card fitting
• Rider balance assessment
• Rider mechanics and functional riding assessment
• Educated recommendations to support comfort, balance and performance

By assessing the horse and rider together, we can identify contributing factors that may be overlooked during a standard saddle fitting.

• Your name
• Full service address
• Number of horses requiring assessment
• Preferred service – Standard Fit or Duo Fit

🔒 A $20 non-refundable booking deposit is required to secure your appointment and is deducted from your final fitting fee.

Travel fees may apply depending on your location and the scheduled run.
(Currently - $35 per person)

There is no booking commitment or deposit required at the EOI stage, unless you would like to secure your place early.
If you already know you’d like an appointment, you’re welcome to confirm your booking and pay the $20 booking deposit to secure your place ahead of the final route being announced.
🔒 Once the trip is confirmed, the $20 deposit is non-refundable and acts as your cancellation fee. However, if The Rusty Spur Co. determines that the proposed NSW & QLD fitting run will not go ahead, your deposit will be refunded in full.
Once we’ve established where the strongest demand is, we’ll finalise the service route and dates and contact everyone who has registered their interest with further booking information.

TRAVELLING STORE
BOOKING UPDATE

Bookings currently suspended until further notice.

Due to the current cost of fuel, I have made the decision to PARK OUR TRUCK. We are no longer able to attend events free of charge, until fuel prices return to a more affordable level, our travelling store will only accept bookings where the event covers the applicable travel fee.

Travel fees will reflect the fuel price at the current time and the KM's to be travelled.

Unfortunately, due to these rising travel costs, we have also made the difficult decision that we will no longer be attending Tottenham or the Tully Gymkhana.

We will still be attending Forbes this weekend(3-4th), Chiltern the last weekend of Oct (29th - 1st) and the Gundi Rodeo the last weekend of Nov (28th).

We sincerely apologise to everyone who was looking forward to seeing us at these events and thank you for your understanding and continued support. Please reach out if you require anything is the remote areas that we usually attend. Our website is always available to order or of course message us directly and we can help you out.

Saddle fittings will be going ahead all as booked.

Our second-hand clothing and footwear section officially closes on 30 September.

Today is your final chance to shop the remaining collection in-store before all unsold items are removed and returned to their owners.

There are still some great western shirts, jeans, boots and everyday pieces waiting for a new home—but once they leave, they won’t be coming back!
