The way we see and speak to ourself (about our body and life), is the crucial for our happiness.
🔴You may not like your curves, but what if your partner does?
🔴You may not like you face, but what if your beautiful in the eyes of your family?
🔴You may not like your wrinkles, but what if your smile lights up someone else’s world?
Are you blocking other people from enjoying you because you don’t like yourself?
Are you hiding away because you don’t want to be compared to against other women?
Who has the loudest voice in your head?!
True story: when I was about 16, a boy said about me in school (I heard it second hard) “She has a nice body but not a nice face”
Wow. How that comment has impacted my decisions and thoughts about myself.
Some for good😜, as now I like makeup and jewellery and long hair..
But also in a negative way🤒
The inner voice try’s to remind me of this, even now at 35 years old.
If my husband doesn’t compliment me, I think “oh yes, I know why...”
My inner voice takes over.
So what’s the cure? When I know this is a lie that tries to steal happiness from me.
REPLACE.
Replace the words, with consistent flow of truthful, self-love words. From yourself, but also other people (family + coach)
PRACTICE.
Practice self love and care, exercise, eat well, hydrate.
FOCUS.
Focus on someone else. Whatever you focus on gets bigger. Focus outwardly and not just on yourself.
IGNORE.
When the words of that boy arise in
my mind (normally after feeling run down, tried, after I’ve been eating bad and my skin in blocked up) they seem to have more power.
Ignore them and get yourself back on track.
Action beats anxiety.
Tag someone who always lifts you up!🙏🏼💖
