Country Wear is looking for our next Retail Assistant to join the team in Taroom.

Our store will close while we search for the right person. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into an important role within our business.

What we’re offering:

* Casual hours to start, with the opportunity to transition to full-time for the right candidate.
* A friendly and supportive work environment.
* Hours are flexible and open for discussion; however, availability for a minimum of 5 hours per day is required.

Key responsibilities:

* Providing excellent customer service.
* Processing point-of-sale (POS) transactions.
* Preparing and serving coffee.
* Maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.

A huge thank you to our amazing Taroom community for making Friday such a fantastic day! 💛

It was so wonderful to see many familiar faces, along with plenty of new ones, walk through our doors. The coffee was flowing and the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing.

We were so excited to share our new Country Road Collection, and the response was better than we could have imagined. Thank you for all of your lovely feedback—it means the world to us, and we’re thrilled that you love the collection as much as we do.

A new chapter for Taroom! ☕️

We’re excited to announce that our Taroom store is now serving coffee and stocking COUNTRY ROAD!

The coffee machine is on, the shelves are stocked, and we can’t wait to welcome you in and share something a little new with the Taroom community.

🩶 How wonderful for Cunnamulla community 🤍

Yapunyah Lodge was officially re-opened today in Cunnamulla by Hon David Littleproud MP, House of Representatives for Maranoa. Paroo Shire Council has petitioned for many years for the facility to be re-opened and are delighted to support Gwandalan Support Services in making this a reality.

At the opening, Gwandalan Support Services directors Daniel Manley and Brett Sandy also unveiled a proposed new 40 bed aged care facility to be built beside the Warrego River on Weir Road. ‘Lorna’ , a tribute to Brett’s grandmother, will offer high quality facilities to enable residents to stay within Cunnamulla in their later years.
