QANTAS AND JETSTAR HAVE APPROVED INFLATABLE FOOT CUSHIONS. ✈️⭐✅

Officially. Onboard. Domestic and international — and it extends across the Qantas group, including QantasLink. 🇦🇺🌏

The conditions 👇
🔋 Manual inflation only — no battery pumps can be used, (if you have a self inflate version, just take out the pump 😊).
🪟 Window seat on narrowbody, or the middle block on widebody
🚫 Not in bulkhead or emergency exit rows
💨 Must have a quick-release valve — (every version of ours does)
🎒 Counts as one item of carry-on
🔔 Packed away when the seatbelt sign is on

Already own a self-inflating one? Remove the pump and inflate by hand — still approved. 💪

✈️ 6 family rules that make travelling with kids SO much easier 👇

These simple rules help us avoid unnecessary stress, reduce meltdowns, and make family trips more enjoyable for everyone. 💛

📍 1. If you get lost, stay where you are
We teach our kids to stop moving and stay put if they can't find us. If they need help, look for a mum with kids 👩‍👧‍👦 or a staff member 👮‍♀️.

😴 2. We still prioritise sleep
Travel days aren't always perfect, but keeping sleep as close to their normal schedule as possible helps prevent overtired meltdowns the next day.

🎁 3. One souvenir per trip
They can choose what they want and when they want it—but they only get one. It cuts down on constant asking and makes the souvenir feel more special.

🛁 4. Bedtime routine still happens
Holiday or not, we stick to our usual bedtime routine. Familiar routines help kids settle faster and sleep better in a new environment.

☕ 5. We schedule downtime
Not every minute needs to be filled. We build in breaks to head back to the room, rest, recharge, and reset. Everyone is happier afterwards.

🌈 6. We expect meltdowns (and plan for them)
Kids get tired, overstimulated, and overwhelmed when travelling. Flexibility beats forcing the schedule. Sometimes the best travel skill is adjusting your expectations.
