My favourite day of the week when we all get to show off the projects we have been working on at home. Judging from these busy bees, it's a wonder we have time for domestic goddess duties!

Some absolutely beautiful work brought into Our Common Threads today. It's great to see people working on their projects at home and on Wednesdays at the centre. Well done all.

I love Wednesday's hanging out with these amazing, lovely, talented women. Yesterday was another very productive day.

Michelle is very happy with her finished Hope Bag. We need to get in and make more of these much needed bags. We have a pile of them cut out and ready to sew for when you are feeling generous with your time 😀. Sally is looking gorgeous in her koala dancing skirt, made from one of the donations we gratefully receive. Barb is making pants for her grandson; Carol continues to crochet Anzac Day poppies; Nikki and her stunning Injalak dress and Mim showing off her very funky pants. Louise is making a skirt for Beyond Blue Day. Happy sewing ❤️

It looks like there are a few of us suffering from chocolitis after Easter, which meant a quieter day today 🍫. We had more poppies donated for the RSL for Anzac Day. Look out for them on sale around town in the next few weeks. Thank you to all of you who contributed.
Tammy was happy with her headband, while Pauline and Varvara showed off their new bags. Sally has started making costumes for her next stage show as well as showing Michelle some tips on sewing bag handles. Carolyn's grandchildren will be happy to see that their dolls now have a mattress to lie on. Happy sewing 💖

3 hours flashed by today, with lots of sewing action. It was our last poppy making session today, but I'm sure we will see poppies popping up in different forms for embellishment in the months to come.
Pauline outdid herself with her Easter biscuits, that tasted as good as they looked. Katina finished her Easter dress for her niece, and Yarra finished her hope bag. Kerry has made a quilt top of Broome sunset, and we even managed a sensible photo of Yvonne !! Happy Easter everyone and happy sewing ❤️
