✨ It’s never just about the finished artwork… ✨

I have been completely blown away by the beautiful people who have joined me for these workshops. From complete beginners picking up a pencil with uncertainty, to professional artists with years of experience — every single person brought something unique to the table.

And the wonderful thing? Everyone said they learnt something new.

The photos will show you the artwork, the laughter, the concentration and perhaps a few little moments along the way… but they can never truly capture what happens during the journey.

The nerves at the beginning.
The “I can’t do this” moments that slowly become “Oh… maybe I can!”
The discoveries. The conversations. The encouragement around the table. The unexpected friendships. And that wonderful moment when someone begins to see their own creativity in a completely new way.

The days absolutely flew by. 💫

Teaching reminds me again and again that creativity isn’t about being the best person in the room. It’s about being curious enough to try, brave enough to make mistakes and open enough to discover something new.

What a beautiful night. ❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to the opening of Whimsical Wanderings. Seeing so many lovely faces, sharing conversations, hearing your stories and making new connections was honestly one of the most special parts of the whole experience.

And then there was that wonderful little buzz of excitement as artworks, calendars and heart pins began finding new homes. There’s something incredibly special about watching someone connect with a piece you’ve poured so much of yourself into — and then choose to take it home. 🥹✨

Thank you to everyone who stopped to look, chat, ask questions, share memories and simply wander through the exhibition with me. Your enthusiasm and encouragement meant more than you know.

And a very special thank you to The Churn Room for creating such a beautiful, intimate and completely unique space for Whimsical Wanderings. What a gorgeous setting for this collection of curious characters, stories and wandering souls.

I’m feeling very grateful — and a little bit overwhelmed in the best possible way. Thank you Cherie for all these wonderful photos!

My first workshop at The Churnroom — All of a Flutter 🐦✨

What a gorgeous way to begin! A room full of creativity, laughter, colour and imagination as we brought our whimsical birds to life.

Such an amazing, fun group who completely embraced the quirky and unexpected. From curious characters to wonderfully peculiar personalities, each bird took on a life of its own.

And just look at their gorgeous creations! 😍🐦 I absolutely love seeing how everyone begins with the same idea, yet creates something entirely unique.

Thank you to this fabulous flock for such a joyful day. You were all simply wonderful! 💕✨
