LOST CAT
Hi, my Mum was visiting from Melbourne with her cat.
Saturday night, he slipped out of the house and may have gone roaming. As you can imagine, Mum is heart broken.
His name is "Sinbad". He is grey, short haired similar to a Russian Blue, with white toes. He is microchipped, registered to my Mum, Veronica but as an adoptee from the RSPCA, his name is still "Damian" on the register.
Lost near Green Gully Road & Torpys Lane. Please message me if found.
Please no unhelpful comments about keeping cats indoors - life is complex and stuff happens

I spent last week deeply immersed in a week-long intensive at Uni. Came back with 🦠
So I’m in my happy place, mending, reflecting and recovering.

No Waste Christmas
Maybe it’s a bit radical or perhaps conservative to suggest that when you’re loved one sincerely states they have enough STUFF, that you lovingly repair something they hold dear?!
About 9 years ago, I washed this cotton quilt, diligently hung it a little too close to the fire place to dry and singed it ALL Over!!
So embarrassing. I packed it away until I felt the inspiration to mend.
These are the first two patches. Many,many more to come!
From an ikea quilt to what my son calls “an heirloom in the making”. Hint taken 😘
And if you like the idea of mending treasures for your loved ones - or would like this for yourself, but sewing is not your jam….. I have availability for commissions leading up to Christmas.

Mending moth holes in a favourite quilt cover. I do all the right things and yet they still find a way!
For sure, the most tormenting bugs are the ones that love munching on natural fibres!

This gorgeous collection of men’s linen shirts were an absolute delight to mend. I reused linen from a couple of shirts that were beyond redemption. That makes each finished garment greater than the sum of its parts
