If you have a tween or teen who is desperate to sew but you don’t sew yourself and don’t know how to support them - THIS class is for THEM (and you).we SEW have you covered at Little Lane! (Pun intended! 😂)

In this friendly, no-pressure class with our incredibly talented AND patient teacher Silvana - you will learn all the basics of sewing on a sewing machine and build the confidence to start sewing your own projects.

Regardless of whether you’ve never touched a sewing machine or you’ve done it before but have forgotten - this class is for YOU - and it is a class where you will learn a life skill that’s actually fun!

What a lovely community circle and what a great cause! ❤️

It is with great sadness that we announce that we can no longer operate out of the community center in Avalon after 10 wonderful years, as we are finding the rent too expensive.
We will move to The Hub at Kimbriki Respurce Recovery Center in January 2026 and would still love you to come and visit us there, drop off fabric or buy a bag. We will be there on a Tuesday from 11-3pm.
In the next few weeks we will be selling our surplus sewing machines at very reasonable prices. So please feel free to pop in and say goodbye or get yourself a bargain priced sewing machine
We have some lovely Xmas bags for sale that make wonderful gift bags so please drop in and see us if you would like to purchase some.
