‘Live out Loud’

Using only ethically sourced organic cottons, Ashima (peace silk), organically grown banana fibers, h**p (and whatever I can get my hands on in the future) – all my products are crafted with an obsessive attention to detail. No two garments are the

same. The dye process infuses each garment with its original character using top quality dyes that are colourfast and guaranteed not to run. Happy to take orders for one-of custom-made sarongs, scarves, wrap and fishermen pants, convertible dresses and skirts, cushion covers, bedding and other homewares. I intend to have a range of pre-made for sale. Workshops: Held at my home or at a venue chosen by the customer. Kids birthday parties held at the venue. Happy to travel within the region. Each workshop customized to suit the age of the group. Seven different styles of monthly workshops on offer unless requested for any kind of event.
• Tie dye - using high quality reactive dyes.

• Shibori – Japanese traditionally used with one color. Natural indigo. Shibori is the Japanese word for a variety of ways to resist-dye textiles. ... Traditionally, a white cloth (usually silk, h**p, or cotton) is folded, sewn, bunched, or twisted, then tied, and finally dipped into a natural indigo dye. Intricate patterns and colours.
• Hand blocking – Using handmade wooden stamps from India using dyes.
• Natural dyes – using collected flowers, onion peels, avocado seeds and peels, beetroot, dried berries, gum leaves etc.
