Meet Amanda — the next of the Del Mar Women.
Mother of five and a grandmother, sixty this month and entirely herself. She rises before the light, dresses for no one but herself and finds beauty in the simple. Of her children: they are "not ours to own. They each carry their own purpose." Of the husband she met at forty-six: "he is balance."
