This has been a dream of mine since surfing with all the bros back in the early 90s to design a clothing brand inspired by the memories and love of my home town Matata. This started for me 30 years ago, a group of best friends, from a small beach town Matata New Zealand, learning to surf on secondhand boards. We called ourselves "THE MATATA LOCALS"

I've always wanted to design a clothing brand that represented my love for home, lifelong mates, good times and family pride.
