Let’s baked Anzac Biscuits with us.
Save this post for later. We rolled it smaller than our usual Anzac Biscuits size to fit into our lunchbox. Perfect bite size for kids.
You need :
1 cup flour
¾ cup caster sugar
1 cup rolled oats
1 cup coconut
125 grams butter
2 tablespoons golden syrup
1 teaspoon bicarb soda
Preheat oven to 180°C.
Sift flour into a bowl, add sugar, rolled oats and coconut.
Melt the butter and golden syrup in a saucepan.
Dissolve the bicarb soda in boiling water and add to the melted butter and syrup.
Add the mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Roll into balls and place on an oven tray. Flatten with a tork.
Bake for 15minutes.
Allow to cool for 5 minutes on the tray and then lift onto a cooling rack.
