We combine fiction with fashion in vintage pop-up shops and all things creative! We combine fiction with fashion in all things creative! We like to think of ourselves as The Goodies - anywhere, anytime. If you have a creative problem, we have a creative solution. Parties, baby showers, window displays, nail art, styling, pop-up shops, murals, installations - you name it, we can do it. bams & ted s
tarted in 2010 with a series of pop-up shops in Sydney. We chose a character from a novel or film and then set to work creating an installation and retail space around that character. All the clothing, accessories and objects were pre-loved items hand picked by us and were available for sale during the pop-up period. Past bams & ted pop-up collections include:
Miranda (Picnic at Hanging Rock)
Francie (To Catch A Thief)
Jessica (Murder She Wrote)
Sebastian (Brideshead Revisted)
Country Kids (Spring on the Farm)
Dylan Thomas (Edge of Love)
Edward Scissorhands
This Year's Ashes, in conjunction with Griffin at the Stables Theatre
We also do one-night events, installations and parties including:
By way of the green line bus, a Wes Anderson cocktail party at World Bar, Kings Cross
The Rum Diaries, a private Puerto Rican Christmas party
Dead Wood photobooth, an installation for the opening night of The Apothecary, Kings Cross
Bienvenue ร Twin Peaks, a window display for Citizen Vintage, Montreal
Homage a Alec Baldwin, an installation for Even Books, Late Night Library, Surry Hills
In 2011 bams & ted was a finalist in the FBi Sydney Music and Culture (SMAC) Awards for Best New Collective and we were listed in the A-Z Sydney Cool in Time Out Sydney.
