Darren has a very specific relationship with Love Without Words.

He loves the start.

He loves the end.

It's just that bit in the middle he's not entirely convinced about.

And after having Confessions 2 on heavy repeat, his opinion hasn't really changed.

Not every track has to be an instant favourite from beginning to end.

Every great album has that one track.

You know the one...

The song you quietly skip every time it comes on.

That's what surprised us most about Confessions 2.

After weeks of listening, we realised we weren't reaching for the skip button at all.

For us, that's incredibly rare.

Even Confessions on a Dance Floor had a couple of tracks we'd occasionally skip.

One of the things Darren admires most about Madonna isn't just the music...

It's that she doesn't seem to make albums for everyone else.

She makes the album she wants to make.

Whether people love it, hate it, or don't get it until years later, she's always followed her own instincts.

As someone who designs shirts and creates art, that really resonates.

You can't spend your life chasing everyone else's approval.
