Jean Marie Millinery Hat Shop Jean Marie Millinery has been in business since 1994, making custom made hats and fascinators for all occassions.

In my home studio in Ettalong Beach I make bespoke hats and fascinators to order. I have my workroom onsite full of equipment and supplies to make up. I do small workshops, teaching skills in millinery here. I am available by appointment for consultations.

As I mowed the lawn yesterday I kept thinking only a women would do this …..I couldn’t mow over my purple mushroom fairy ring. And the height lever must have knocked down and the mower conked out because it was too low. And it wasn’t until I came inside and looked out over my mowing job with satisfaction that I saw the perfect Easter Cross I had made in my lawn! Must be a message in it. Happy Easter everyone.

Isn't it just a joy watching these cute Superb Fairywrens hop around in the Clarence Valley?

You can spot them anywhere, in the bush, near the headlands by the ocean or in your backyard.

My entry into the Avante Guard Competition for hats in the Royal Easter Show. I made this in 2019 through the Australian bushfires that were devastating al up and down the East Coast of Australia. I was mourning the loss of our fauna and flora. Then Notre Dam Cathedral has a devastating fire so I added a rosary bead necklace for that. I would love Lady Gaga to wear this to protest climate change!
