✨ The 1st Clay Soirée was a success! ✨

What a beautiful afternoon of creativity, connection and getting hands-on with clay.

It was so special watching everyone relax into the process, experiment, laugh and create pieces that were completely their own. Seeing the finished creations come together was the highlight of the day.

A huge thank you to my first group for being part of the beginning of this little studio dream. Your feedback and encouragement helped me refine the Clay Soirée experience, and I’m so excited for what’s ahead. 🤍

Bookings are now open for upcoming workshops!

After running the first session and refining the experience, Clay SoirĂŠe will now launch with an introductory price of $130 per person.

This includes:
✨ a pottery piece ready to paint
✨ clay to create a handmade piece
✨ glazing and firing of your creations
✨ a relaxed 3-hour creative experience

Here is a sneak peek of a few pieces from my latest glaze fire, trinket or margarita salting plates and some smaller diffuser pieces that can be paired with your favourite essential oil and hung from your rear vision mirror or placed anywhere really. 🤷‍♀️ (will share some more soon) 🤍✨

Today, I worked on some new pieces inspired by a visit to a lovely lady's pottery studio at Highvale, where I went to purchase furniture for the new Clay Soirée workshop space and discovered her daughter sold handmade clay stamps that are absolutely stunning and I will definitely be a return customer to buy a few more every payday… LOL! 😂

Her Etsy store, TheStampGarden.Etsy.com, is highly recommended for clay stamps that really could have multiple uses. 🌀🤍✨

After years of dreaming, planning, collecting ideas, making pots, and slowly building my little creative space, I’m finally taking the next step…

Clayla’s Clay Soirées are coming.

I’ll soon be opening my Ferny Hills home studio for small, relaxed pottery workshops where you can slow down, create something with your hands, and spend a few hours away from the noise of everyday life.

The space isn’t quite ready yet. I’m putting the finishing touches on the studio, refining the workshop format, and running a few trial sessions with friends first to make sure everything feels just right before opening bookings to the public.

This has been a long time in the making and honestly feels a little surreal to finally share it.

The vision is simple:

✨ Connect

If you’ve ever wanted to try pottery but felt intimidated, these workshops will be designed especially for beginners in a relaxed and welcoming environment.

Watch this space over the coming weeks as I share more of the studio transformation, trial sessions, and booking details.
