The Signet Bureau

The Signet Bureau Women's clothing store featuring bespoke garment, shoes and accessories from Melbourne based designer

The Signet Bureau is a collaborative project facilitated by Melbourne fashion designer Maureen Sohn and business partner, Neil Christensen. ce for clientèle. Also featuring collections from Melbourne/Collingwood based brand MM Söhn, Japanese brand, Moyuru, German brand, Studio Rundholz and New Zealand's iconic NOM*d brand. Contemporary jewellery by Melbourne based Flew Designs, Unnon Studio and KT Jewel with leather bags and accessories by Smena Melbourne and Christian Peau

A little colour. A lot of attitude.

The Studio Rundholz Tulip Pant in Rose brings the colour hit, balanced with the sculptural simplicity of the MM Söhn Axis Jumper in Black. Layer in the graphic contrast of the Pal Offner Oversized Coat in Black | White and finish with the architectural proportions of the Moyuru Billow Extended Hem Shirt in White | Black.

Different design languages, textures and proportions — brought together in one very considered look.

Because sometimes the best outfits are the ones that don’t match… they make sense.

Lace, but not as you know it.

The latest SS26|27 collection has just landed in store at The Signet Bureau, bringing with it a beautifully unruly take on one of fashion’s most familiar fabrics.

Deconstructed. Distressed. Deliberately imperfect.

Lace is pulled apart and rebuilt into jackets and tops with frayed edges, broken surfaces and layers that feel almost archaeological — delicate in material, but with a rawness that gives the pieces real attitude.

It’s that tension we love about Studio Rundholz DIP: romance with a little grit, craftsmanship with a sense of disruption, and garments that look even better when they’re not behaving perfectly.

SS26|27 has arrived. And lace has been given the Rundholz treatment. 🖤

Great to see in the store and getting stuck into the racks — discovering the Studio Rundholz Mesh Cardigan and La Vaca Loca Mente Pants along the way.

Such a good combination of texture, movement and just the right amount of attitude. Always love seeing pieces leave the store and take on a life of their own. 🖤

Head-to-toe black, all year round.

Emily and Stephanie show us exactly why the colour remains a wardrobe constant — effortless, directional and endlessly versatile.

Different textures, shapes and proportions keep it interesting, proving that black is never boring. 🖤

Some days you just end up in head-to-toe black....or deep plum depending on the light :)

Not because it was planned particularly carefully — it just works.

A bit oversized, a bit unruly, plenty of layers and enough volume to make walking down Gertrude Street feel slightly theatrical.

Black boots, a black dress, a distressed jacket, a few favourite pieces of jewellery.

Add a bike, a busy street and Melbourne doing its thing in the background.

Pretty much sums it up. 🖤

Studio Rundholz | DIP 4 Pocket Jacket with Sleeve Inserts in Crab Dark
Studio Rundholz | Mainline Integrated Shirt Dress

PLUMINO LUNGO | SANCTAMUERTE

Because sometimes your coat deserves to be the main character. 😉

The Sanctamuerte Plumino Lungo Coat has that oversized, throw-it-on-and-go attitude we can’t get enough of. Generous proportions, a relaxed shape and enough presence to turn even the simplest outfit into a look.

The power of the white shirt is that it never really tries too hard.

It’s the piece you reach for when you want to feel pulled together, but still completely yourself. A little undone, layered, oversized, tucked, twisted or simply left to do its thing.

The Moyuru Lucent Shirt takes that familiar idea and gives it a little more attitude. Sculptural without being rigid, relaxed without losing its shape, it has that wonderful Moyuru ability to make a simple piece feel quietly unexpected.

Wear it with wide-leg trousers, layer it under a jacket, let it hang loose over denim — or just throw it on and head out the door.

Because sometimes the most powerful thing in the wardrobe is the piece that makes everything else work.

The white shirt. Reimagined.

Coffee … check. ☕️
Puppy companion … check. 🐶
Pal Offner … check. 🖤

Pretty much everything you need for a morning on Gertrude Street.

There’s something rather lovely about heading out with nowhere too urgent to be, a good coffee in hand, your favourite four-legged companion by your side and an outfit that makes you feel like yourself.

We’re ready for the winter air, a wander down the street and whatever the day decides to throw our way.

Gertrude Street, we’re coming for you. ✨

A little plum, because winter dressing doesn’t always need to be black.

Deep, rich and quietly unexpected — plum has a way of bringing colour into a wardrobe without shouting about it.

Wear it tonal, mix it with your neutrals, or let it be the piece that does all the talking.

Plum. Consider it your new winter neutral. 🍇

Fantastic to see Emily and Stephanie back instore. Two of our favourite people, in two of our favourite coats. 🖤

We love the way these two wear clothes — with personality, confidence and absolutely no fuss. And even more, we love the joyful energy they bring with them every time they walk through the door.

Emily is wearing the Studio Rundholz Raw Seam Relaxed Coat with Hood, while Stephanie is wearing the MM Söhn Dressage Extended Pocket Coat — both completely different, both completely them.

This is what we love about our little fashion community. It’s not just about the clothes. It’s the people, the conversations, the inspiration and seeing how everyone makes a piece their own.

Love your style. Love your energy. Always happy to have you both back at The Signet Bureau. 🖤
