Spacecraft Studio Art + Design. Established in 2000 Spacecraft is a holistic print studio now located in our new studio in Footscray, Melbourne.

Spacecraft’s artworks and screen printed designs are built upon the twin foundations of technical excellence and innovation in print, as well as a love of contemporary art. We aspire to produce and present artwork that connects production values with conceptual thinking. Spacecraft studio offers a range of complimentary activities including:

contemporary art consultancy, lecturing and writing
workshops and public programs for lifelong learning

Open Studio Trail
this Saturday ( 27 June ) 10am–4pm



We are opening the studio doors, access all areas, for the inaugural Open Studio Trail, an initiative developed by our Footscray neighbours The Art Room.
A chance to see inside the art and design studios of our talented neighbours in Footscray.

‘ explore some of the west’s most vibrant creative spaces during a self-guided walking trail through artist studios, galleries and maker spaces. Meet the artists, see works in progress, exhibitions, demonstrations and installations, and discover the creative communities shaping Melbourne’s west.’

Car & bike parking on site, for public transport, we suggest the scenic route - use Footscray Station drop down to Footscray Arts and walk along the Maribyrnong river to Spacecraft.

When you’ve had enough of that, pop next door to Hop Nation & Good Pizza—or take a stroll to explore the evolving urban landscape along the river, the docks and city skyline views behind the new veloway bike path, or take the dog over to Yarraville Gardens.
